Prabowo Subianto, the Indonesian Minister of Defense (Menhan) and President-elect for the term 2024-2029, recently took a group selfie with State Palace reporters. This occurred after a work meeting with President Joko Widodo at the Merdeka Palace in Jakarta on Thursday afternoon (6/6).
After finishing his meeting and lunch with President Jokowi, Prabowo was greeted by members of the media as he stepped out of the Palace. One reporter commented on how cheerful Prabowo looked that day, to which he smiled and approached the reporters for an interview.
During the interview, Prabowo mentioned that he had been summoned by President Jokowi for lunch and discussed the results of his meetings during the recent two days in Singapore. He reported on various matters, including the outcomes of Indonesia’s diplomatic meetings at the 21st IISS Shangri-La Dialogue in Singapore.
While in Singapore, Prabowo also met with key figures such as Singapore Prime Minister Lawrence Wong, Ukrainian President Zelenskyy, and United States Secretary of Defense Lloyd J. Austin.
After the interview, the media colleagues requested a group photo with Prabowo, to which he happily obliged. Prabowo posed with the palace reporters, wearing sunglasses and a white shirt, capturing the group photo moment before thanking them and heading to his car.
