President Prabowo Subianto recently attended the Maulid Nabi Muhammad SAW 1447 H celebration at Istiqlal Mosque in Jakarta. The event, which carried the theme “The 2025 State-Level Commemoration of the Prophet Muhammad’s Birthday: Ecotheology – The Example of Prophet Muhammad SAW for the Sustainability of the Earth and the Nation,” was graced by the presence of Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka, Defense Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. During the celebration, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar delivered a sermon highlighting the values of love, compassion, and happiness, while Imam Husni Ismail led a prayer emphasizing the importance of nature preservation and peace. The objective of the event was to pay tribute to Prophet Muhammad SAW and encourage his followers to uphold environmental conservation in accordance with his teachings.
